The objective of this course is to apply financial management concepts to business situations through the use of case studies. The course will enhance your understanding of corporate finance topics, such as, valuation, capital budgeting, risk and return, cost of capital, capital structure, dividend policy and mergers. The focus of the course is on applied and analytical financial decision making and will require written case reports and the presentation of case analyses. Prerequisites: FINA 300 and (ECON 216 or ECON 217 with a C- or better) and (MATH 130 or MATH 133 or MATH 150 or MATH 151 with a C- or better) and (ACCT 201 with a C- or higher) and (ECON 101 with a C- or higher).
