Course Description

This course offers intensive training in the types of public speaking that are germane to social, political, and business communication. Through instructor and peer critique, students will gain proficiency in extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, and debate. Special attention is given to the critique and engagement of public controversy. Prerequisite: COMM 103 or 203.
